The Rotting Chronicles is a survival action game set in a ravaged city where you must fight, scavenge, craft, and rebuild. Explore decaying buildings, defeat relentless hordes of the undead, and forge a new life for yourselves. Run solo or with up to 3 friends, expand your skills, and find the best strategies to thrive in a world full of danger. Your ultimate goal is not just to survive, but to rebuild humanity’s place at the top.

Features:

A Rotting World Surrounds You

• Scavenge for resources and fortify your shelter to defend against relentless zombie hordes.

• Face a dynamic, ever-changing world where every decision counts—survival depends on your ability to adapt and outsmart the growing horde.

• The horde may have rotten brains but your actions still draw their attention. Be stealthy, or prepare to face the horde's wrath, it's up to you.

Your Decisions Make a Difference

• Build your own unique playstyle with a mix of stealth, combat, strategy, and different weapons to overcome the overcome the onslaught of undead and evolving environmental hazards.

• Tackle challenges solo or with up to 3 other friends in the face of an ever-changing threat.

• Final Death: If you die, you start over... your character may be gone, but their legacy lives on.

Build and Expand Your Shelter

• Craft weapons, upgrade your base, and gather supplies to expand your shelter.

• Find NPC survivors and invite them home, then manage resources like water, food, and raw materials to keep everyone alive.

Evolving Survivor Progression

• The Predator's Path system provides in-depth progression that rewards your playstyle and decisions by naturally evolving your character's abilities to match how you play, creating a unique build based on your choices.

• Evolve from vulnerable prey to a hunter, gradually regaining control of the environment.

Overcome Nature Itself

• Zombies aren't the only problems you'll encounter - unpredictable weather and strange natural disasters join forces to create new opportunities and more dangerous hazards, but may offer more exciting rewards.

• Navigate these dangerous infected zones where shifting environments affect the behavior of zombies.

• Find or Craft special equipment to survive the challenges they offer and gather rare materials for crafting.
