'Flames in Modern Europe is a complex strategy game with very big ambitions and very low funding. It's being developed by one person, and I chose early access to involve players in the development process, get feedback, and gradually improve the game's mechanics, balance, and content.'

'The duration of the Early Access is currently unknown. We plan to release the full version when the game is fully finished and meets our expectations. It is estimated that this could happen by April 2026, but the timeline may change depending on the development progress.'

Develop your nation, overcome political crises, and become part of the most thrilling moments of contemporary history!

As of summer 2025, the game remains in active development and receives regular updates that add a lot of new content, such as new mechanics, expansions of existing ones, graphics improvements, and numerous optimizations. Below you can read about what is currently available!

MAIN MECHANICS

Courses: in the country menu, you have several courses, for example, political and economic. These are your storyline and plan to achieve greatness in Europe.
Mentality: change the traits of your nation's mentality to adapt it to your style!
Decisions: make important decisions for your country that will help you fight corruption, improve stability, or even allow you to sell regions of your country.
Economy: build new structures that will work for the benefit of the state, such as
- Offices that will generate new income for the state treasury
- Laboratories that will work on new technologies
- Nuclear and other power plants, which not only supply domestic consumers but whose energy can also be sold to other states!
- Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), which will fight corruption in your country!
- And much more: from roads to spaceports!
Use the budget menu to edit expenses and efficiency in various sectors of the country, such as construction, research, army, and administration. Hire additional construction companies to speed up building! Don’t forget about taxes as well!
Research: explore new technologies that will help your country become the most progressive.
Army: create new brigades, or launch nuclear weapons that will leave permanent scars on Earth...
