Madlum's Vault is the ultimate prison, a labyrinth of suffering shaped by the unfortunate souls who inhabit it. Take control of one of these souls to fight through waves of vicious bullet hell, eviscerate all manner of demonic creatures and face your rivals head-on in fearsome boss battles.

The unfortunate souls.

Choose from several playable characters each with a unique play-style. Consume your enemies to steal their life for your own, dance and weave between bullets to charge up devastating bombs, or let a brain parasite handle all your aiming for you. Just know that whichever one you choose to play, all the others will be out to get you.

The pressure is constantly rising.

The vault won't make escaping easy, enemy attacks become more and more aggressive as you progress through a run. The pressure will adapt according to your skill level but you will need to reach a breaking point if you want to truly escape.

Salvage relics from fallen rivals.

Acquire upgrades at the end of each stage that will augment your power and reshape the way you play throughout a run. Build up resources to ensure long-term survival against the rising pressure, tear your enemies apart with a variety of weapons and familiars and overwhelm bosses with powerful upgraded bombs. Use everything you can to your advantage.

Every run is different.

Stage order and even the enemies and bosses you'll encounter within will change every time you start a new run. Stay alert and don't let yourself be caught off guard.
