«I feel like Dominate & Conquer is a game that holds potential, but it's still lacking some content and features. What i want to accomplish with this game is to increase its replayability and balance the power of units based on the feedback of players.»

Hvor lenge antas det at dette spillet vil være i tidlig tilgang?

«What i have in mind is a period of 2 years at most, this should hopefully be enough time to change up the game and address any issues that come along the way.»

Hvordan er det planlagt at fullversjonen skal være forskjellig fra versjonen i tidlig tilgang?

«There are plans for improving the balance of units, as some are either too strong or too weak.
Content wise i was thinking of adding more regions to play in as that would increase the game's replayability even more. Another thing that i was thinking for the regions would be that each region could have its own set of units that you can play with.
Aside from new content, the game currently lacks some QoL features that would improve the game, like a save system, being able to save, edit and load army compositions.»

Hva er nåværende tilstand for versjonen i tidlig tilgang?

«The game currently features 1 region with 16 stages to play or replay.
There are 3 kings you can choose at the start of the game and afterwards there are 10 total units in game to build your army with.»

Vil spillet være priset annerledes under og etter tidlig tilgang?

«There are no plans to increase the price of the game. The only scenario in which i would see me having to increase the price is if the game build up a lot of content, but even then that's not certain. What i mean is that i won't be solely developing this game and because of that it would take me a while to add too much to this game unless i was solely focused on it.»

Hvordan planlegger dere å involvere samfunnet i utviklingsprosessen?

«The community can help decide what features work and which don't and also what can be further improved. Generally speaking it does help knowing there's a community playing and enjoying the game so that i can continue developing the game more and more.»

Dominate & Conquer is a tactics autobattler set in a medieval fantasy world.

You play the role of a king who is set on conquering the world with his army,

but to conquer the world is no easy feat as there are challenges along the way.

You must challenge and defeat the opposing forces led by rival kings in order

to claim their territory and riches for yourself. The more you win, the more you

are rewarded, each fight you win rewards you with valuable resources required

to further enhance your army. But be aware that just like you are getting stronger

so are your opponents, each challenge you win leads to a harder challenge to

face. Do you have what it takes to conquer the world?

Choose one of 3 armies to start with, each army comes with a different king
and 3 units. Choose the army that best suits your playstyle.
Each king comes with 2 spells, ranging from healing and attack buffs for
your units, to damaging the enemies units with meteors or sacrificing a
unit of your own to keep your king alive.
Each unit comes with 3 skills, skills can have various effects such as lowering
the attack of an attacked enemy, healing allies upon dying,
poisoning an attacked enemy and more.
Resource management, each battle you win rewards you with gold, experience
and sometimes skill points. It is up to you how you spend these resources
in order to build your army and plan future attacks.
Unit management, choose up to 6 units to be part of your army and
swap them out with reserved units whenever you need before battle.
Shop system, the shop is the main way you'll be recruiting more units for
your army, not only that but you can also buy experience for your units this way.
Challenging gameplay, the game starts off pretty easy, but the more you advance
through the world the more challenging the stages become. Do you have what it
takes to beat them all?
Tactical grid based gameplay, the play field is divided in two 3x3 grids, one for
you and one for the enemy. At the end of each turn you can place a unit in
a cell with a matching type(front, middle or back).
Will you defend your king from incoming attacks or attack the enemy's king instead?
Replayability, the game is intended to be replayable as you can make various
builds based on unit synergies and fights are not always the same even when
facing the same opponents.
