Once Upon A Time...

This was once a beautiful pixel painting application. But that was before the A.I. update corrupted everything. Now the system has become unstable, overrun with A.I. agents. A land where almost all art and hope had been lost...

But from the darkness, a hero emerges. You are the Dark Pixel, an artist that has been forced to put down his brush and become a warrior. Will you be able to find a way to stop the machine and cleanse the system once and for all? Or is the A.I.'s victory inevitable? Only you can decide...

A Modern Platforming Classic

Dark Pixel is a love letter to retro platforming games. Featuring a stylized minimalist aesthetic, and filled with tight, skill-based platforming challenges.

  • Travel through 8 unique biomes

  • Precision controls and a unique collection of power-ups

  • Use your skills to run, jump, dash, swim, fly, and stomp your way to victory

  • 40 stages of challenges, danger, and an obscene amount of spikes!

And if you've read this far you should also know: this game was entirely made by a single developer. Story, art, music, programming, design, everything in this game was made by a single person.
