We thank you wholeheartedly for your support, encouragement, and feedback over the course of Volo's development. We’ve built a game that we’re still quite proud of, and we couldn’t have done any of it without you. We also hope to see you again in our next journey - whatever that might be.

The game doesn't need to be finished for it to be enjoyable, and there is no such thing as spoiling the surprises for later. With each update you'll have something new to try, making the game feel fresh.

Community feedback is helping to refine the game. We come up with ideas, try them, and see if they stick. You tell us where the rough edges are, and whether you feel a feature fits with your idea of the game. We might be the authors of this book, but we do want to make sure our words make sense to you."

There are some big experimental features that we've yet to complete. As long as there is no clarity on if, when and how those features will end up in Volo, the game will remain in Early Access.

Once we've worked our way through these things the big picture will be clearer, and we can move beyond early access."

We have a rough idea on where we want to go with the game, but what the final game will look like, we simply don't know yet!

We will keep going as long as:

• we feel there's still interesting ground to cover
  
• people are actually playing the game

• A huge landscape inspired by the Swiss Alps, with lots of lines to fly
  
• Time Trials that push your skills to the limit
  
• Multiple camera perspectives (including first-person view)
  
• Very configurable graphics and input settings
  
• VR Support (Oculus Rift & HTC Vive)
