'Visitors had high expectations for a VR version of "Aquarium at August 32nd", so we wanted to provide a new VR experience to as many people as possible and decided to release it in Early Access.

There are still many issues to be resolved in the field of VR games, and it is important to incorporate the opinions and requests of visitors, so we would like to reflect feedback from visitors and create a work that will satisfy as many people as possible.'

Overview

Aquarium at August 32nd is a short walking simulator game inspired by the well-known horror simulator Exit 8. In this game, players explore a spooky aquarium filled with anomalies and must find a way to exit by identifying these differences.

The rule of Aquarium at August 32nd is simple: turn back if there is an anomaly, or go forward if there is none. The game is completed when the number of jellyfish in the tank reaches eight.

Play time: 15 to 60 minutes

Controls

You can choose from two types of control methods. The default is type A.

Control Type A

  • Left thumbstick up/down: Move forward, backward

  • Left thumbstick left/right: Rotate the camera

  • Right thumbstick left/right: Rotate the camera with a snap turn (45 degrees)

Control Type B

  • Left thumbstick up/down: Move forward, backward

  • Left thumbstick left/right: Move left/right in parallel

  • Right thumbstick left/right: Rotate the camera with a snap turn (45 degrees)

Common

  • A button or X button: Turn the tunnel effect on/off

  • B button or Y button: Switch control type

  • Left grip: Run

  • Right grip: Run

  • Left trigger: Not used

  • Right trigger: Not used
