About This Demo

Have you ever wanted to wander through a quiet, empty space, lost in your thoughts?

If so, LIMSCAPE might be the game for you. Inspired by recent liminal space exploration games, LIMSCAPE places you in a world of eerie, realistic, and endlessly beautiful environments.

In this simple first-person perspective (FPS) game, your objective is straightforward: explore and find the exit. While there are no monsters chasing or attacking you, expect moments of tension, disorientation, and navigating through tight, dark spaces. The controls are designed to be intuitive, allowing anyone to jump in easily. In addition to the standard WASD controls, you can also move forward by clicking the mouse and using mouse movements.

Built on Unreal Engine’s Lumen technology, the graphics go beyond photorealism, offering an immersive experience that makes you feel like you're truly inside the world. Explore mysterious spaces that are hauntingly devoid of life but visually captivating.

Each stage takes approximately 10 to 30 minutes to complete. The demo version includes just the first stage, but the full release will feature 5 to 6 stages, each packed with puzzles and tricks. The game's charm lies in exploring and figuring out how to interact with the world in your own way.

You can jump, crouch, and observe your surroundings, expanding the range of exploration. Sometimes you’ll swim through water or face athletic challenges and puzzles that spark your sense of adventure. While there’s no definitive "win" or "lose" condition, there are clear goals, allowing you to enjoy the world without feeling lost.

Recommended for:

  • Those who have ever wanted to simply walk through a quiet, empty space

  • Players who are tired of overly complex or difficult games

Future Development

We are currently developing a sandbox mode where users can freely create their own stages. Our vision is to enable creators to share their unique worlds, with the potential for real-world artists to use LIMSCAPE as a platform for exhibiting new works. Imagine painters creating and sharing gallery stages to showcase their art—this is just one of the many possibilities.

Important Notes

Due to the realistic controls and immersive environment, some players may experience motion sickness. We have included sensitivity settings to help alleviate this. Additionally, those with claustrophobia or anxiety may want to proceed with caution.

Since LIMSCAPE utilizes Unreal Engine's Lumen technology, it requires hardware with support for DirectX 12 and hardware ray-tracing capabilities. Please refer to the system requirements for further details.
