«The Beautiful Game is a story heavy game that is being created in an episodic fashion. I plan for there to be three chapters for the story.

Currently, I am working on v0.9 of Chapter 1, which means I am two planned updates away from finishing Chapter 1. The game already has around 4-5 hours of gameplay based on playtesting averages, which includes branching narrative storylines.

After each release, player feedback helps me to guide the direction of the future chapters. While I know where the story will go in the end in my head, how it gets there is just as important. Player input on that process plays a significant role in the development of that story. «Based on my current development trajectory, I expect to finish the game by the end of 2025. Once finished, I plan for the game to contain around 10-15 hours of play time, given that there is already 4-5 hours of content, and that is just on one playthrough.»

«My plan is the early access version will be the completed Chapter 1.

At the moment, I expect the full version of the game to have three chapters. I plan for each chapter to have a similar amount of content, so on that basis I expect around 10-15 hours of total gameplay. The game has branching paths already, and the plan is for these to result in multiple endings for the game.»

In it you can already develop your friendships, understand the unique and rich world that you find yourself in, and make some game-defining choices. In the current game you can already embark on romantic adventures with some of the love interests and begin building a loving harem, if you want. Or, if you have already met the love of your life in the game you can start on your monogamous route. It's up to you!»

«There are no planned price changes when I leave early access.»

Как вы планируете вовлекать сообщество в разработку игры?

«I currently do the development of the game on my own. Occasionally I pay for an animation where it is of a highly technical nature, or a small amount of time from a professional coder to solve a tricky problem. Beyond that, it's just me!

I also rely on a dedicated team of both fans and supporters to help me make the game what it is. I interact with the players of The Beautiful Game on a daily basis via Discord, and plan to be active in the community section here on Steam. I welcome any players to reach out to me if they want to.»
