Why Early Access?

“This is a sequel to a 28 year old Chinese RTS game, which has a large number of fans in China. In this game, we try to create a unique RTS game structure, integrating the rules of RPG game. In the current market environment of over homogenized games, we are focusing on differentiation. Therefore, a full-scale innovation requires more time and the participation of users of the previous game to help us better produce and improve the game, and at the same time, after we opened the beta, players strongly demanded to open more levels, so we think it is necessary to start with a sneak preview.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The preview time we set is expected to be 6 months, we use these months to carefully polish our preview version to make our unique design flawless, which requires the support of participating players to provide us with better ideas and thoughts, and at the same time, we can also use this polishing time to launch the WarOS version of the network as soon as possible to give users the most enjoyable combat experience.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The preview version is expected to include the core gameplay and the main plot framework, as well as a well-designed 15 levels of gameplay experience. In the full version, we plan to add 5 more uniquely designed levels, y collecting feedback from the players in the preview phase, we will be able to fine-tune the game's balance.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“A total of 15 levels have been designed for the sneak preview, all of which have been completed and are currently undergoing balance and performance adjustments.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price of the Preview Edition will be 20% off the official version, mainly because the Preview Edition is already close to the full version of the content, but the content still needs a period of time to refine the period, so that the new gameplay can better penetrate the hearts of the people .”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will build and maintain an active official forum as the core platform for communication with the community. Here, players can freely share their game experience, ask questions, give feedback on bugs, and post suggestions for game improvements. We have arranged a dedicated community management team to browse the forums regularly every day to ensure that every important piece of feedback from players will not be missed. We will provide an initial response within 24 hours to questions raised by players and provide detailed feedback once the issue has been resolved. On mainstream social media platforms (e.g. Weibo, Twitter, Facebook, etc.), we will regularly post the progress of the game's development.”

About This Game

Welcome to WarOS, a sci-fi interstellar war-themed real-time strategy game (RTS) from China's The7 Studio. As the spiritual sequel to the domestic RTS classic "Live OR Dead", we have poured 28 years of hard work and passion into it, and will lead players into an unprecedented post-Earth cosmic battlefield to experience unprecedented strategic depth and rich storylines.

【Game Background】

The story of "WarOS" is set in the post-Earth era, a world with highly developed technology but also ravaged by war. The conflict between humans and artificial intelligence finally ended in an unexpected way, and the surviving humans had to find a new home. You will play the role of a pioneer who is recruited to participate in the planet transformation plan. Under the vast starry sky, you will lead your team to face unknown challenges and moral choices.

【Featured Content】

Eight planetary battlefields : From Mercury to Neptune, each planetary orbit is a unique battle scene, with exclusive space fortresses, resource points and building facilities.

Five major resources : Quick Water, Earth Coin, APU, All-round Printing Materials and Tritium Tanks. These are the key elements to rebuild civilization. Players need to reasonably allocate and collect resources to ensure the smooth development of the star station.

40+ Hero Characters: Each hero has his or her own unique storyline and special skills. Choosing the right hero to join the team for different situations can give you an advantage in the battle.

Nearly 20 functional buildings : There are nearly 20 different building modules in the game, which are responsible for the security defense, mobility, production efficiency and auxiliary support of the star station. Proper planning and construction of these facilities are crucial to ensuring the stable operation of the satellite station.

Diversified equipment system : A variety of weapons and equipment including tanks, drones, mechas and warships, each with its own unique uses and performance characteristics. Tanks are the main ground units, drones carry out air-to-ground attacks, mechas are good at street fighting and indoor combat, and battleships dominate the space battlefield.
