Why Early Access?

“Early Access is a great opportunity for us to display our hard work in not creating just a playable portion of a game, but a complete experience that serves as a bridge to build community as well as gain insights into making our product and full version better. The Early Access Community will be a pivotal resource and we will extend value to the Community with an active admin team and constant new development.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We anticipate being in Early Access around one year of time. We want to get a measured look at feedback over the first couple of months and then include the Community in the updates as we plan to build the Full game.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to include the following content in the full version:

* We plan to add 3 Full School Campuses (65 Classrooms & over 15 Specialty Rooms)
* We plan to add 5 unlockable characters that player can equip
* We plan to add STEAM Points to power up characters
* We plan to add 15 - 20 new mini games
* We plan to improve and update current mini games
* We plan to add 20-30 new inventory items (including but not limited to energy system, keys, food & energy items)
* We plan to add a note and hint system
* We plan to add an in-game shop
* We plan to add in-game currency
* We plan to add 10-15 new NPCs
* We plan to add STEAM Clubs/Unlockable Guild System to the STEAM Bus”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The STEAM Dreams Early Access version is a fully playable version with a play through time of 45-60 minutes. The current functionalities include:
* Storyline
* Inventory system
* STEAM Crystals
* Character interaction
* Missions
* Mini games & stats
* Interactive Game Map
* Unlockable STEAM Bus
* Elementary School Level (25 Classrooms; Cafeteria, Gym, Library, Locker Rooms and Bathrooms)”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually raise the price as we ship new content and features”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We would like to get feedback with the Community via interactive means (surveys, votes, discussion boards, etc). We'll include them in feedback data reports and 'Work Out Loud' as we continue development on the full game release. We plan to incentivize active and influential Community members with exclusive access to products and game credits or design.”
