Alpha Demo - Testing for feedback

Please note: - As a solo developer working on my first game - ANGEL - I'm using this demo as a way to directly interface with you the player. Please note this demo represents a small portion of the opening story mode. It should be (mostly) feature complete, and represent what you can expect from ANGEL BUT is very much subject to change depending on your player feedback. Please leave any feedback and all of this will be considered before the full release in late 2025. Thank you!

Immerse yourself in ANGEL, a narrative driven racing adventure, where digital climate change threatens the eCho network with extinction. As eCho faces its extinction, the ANGEL protocol - EXPLORE, CREATE, REFLECT- persists. Embark on a journey that questions what it means to be connected.

In this Alpha-Demo players are granted access to the first two worlds of the opening story mode, averaging roughly 1-2 hours of gameplay. You will connect to the eCho network, develop your input capabilities with new combos and abilities, and learn how the game is structured. This Alpha-Demo is an opportunity to provide direct feedback to me (the developer) so that I can make the best possible full release. All reviews and feedback are encouraged!

ANGEL imbues the flow state of racing with the complexity of breakbeat music enhanced by a soundtrack from MyraTV, and many other breakbeat enthusiasts.

STORY SPOILER ALERT ----

In this game, you play as an AI model instantiated into a dying network caused by AI algorithmic generation and optimization. There are a few images in this game that have been AI generated and are used thematically to provide a meta-commentary on the use of AI generation in games. These will be unveiled during the story mode. AI has not been used in anyway to reduce, remove or undermine the hard-work of human creatives, and I have endeavoured to commission and collaborate with a large number of creatives throughout this project.
