Monstersongs – The VR Rock Musical flips the switch on the monster narrative, inviting players to explore the humanity that binds us all. Scary, silly and heartfelt, Monstersongs brings musical theatre to the virtual stage.

Written by Broadway composer Rob Rokicki, best known for his musical The Lightning Thief and with original art work from Dave O'Neill.

                                                 

The kid needs your help. Can you play your part and solve the mystery that brought you to this strange place? Each monster holds a secret, only you can uncover.  With only the journal of the boy to guide you, you must find the missing pages. You must solve riddles to unlock the next part. You can interact with your environment. Find out what happens when you press the wrong key on the old piano or when you follow the wrong path. A lantern will show you hidden clues only its light can reveal. 

   

                                  

The monsters will tell you about their true longings in heartfelt songs. Watch the performances happen all around you and take center stage.

                                

You get to explore and abandoned theatre in which the fears of a boy turn into monsters at night. The troll sleeps in the orchestra pit, Medusa awaits you in the wings and Vampire Girl is hungry for love. Inspired by site-specific theater you can explore and interact with your environment to dive deeper into the story.
