Varför Early Access?

“We’ve managed to build an alpha version of Starship Fighters: Galactic Warfare with the core gameplay elements in place. However, we're currently lacking in content and need to expand the game's universe significantly. By launching in Early Access, we hope to involve the community in the development process, gather valuable feedback, and secure additional funding to hire more talent. This will help us to enrich the game with more content, features, and polish as we work towards a full release.”

“Given our current situation, we anticipate that Starship Fighters: Galactic Warfare will be in Early Access for at least 3 years. However, if we manage to secure more funds and bring additional talent on board, we could potentially shorten this timeline to around 1 year and a half.”

“In the full version of Starship Fighters: Galactic Warfare, we plan to significantly expand the game’s content and features. This will include a roster of at least 15 different starships, each with unique capabilities, and a selection of 20 customizable weapons along with various accessories to enhance ship functionalities. The story mode will be expanded to feature at least 20 diverse levels, offering a more in-depth narrative experience. Additionally, the enemy waves system will be refined to include at least 10 different types of enemies. We also aim to introduce a multiplayer mode, allowing players to team up and fight against enemy forces together. Lastly, players can look forward to enhanced exploration options both in space and on land, providing a richer and more immersive gameplay experience.”

“The Early Access version of Starship Fighters: Galactic Warfare features fully implemented core controls and movement mechanics, laying the groundwork for an engaging space combat experience. Currently, there are three basic game modes: a story mode with a few missions, an endless runner mode with waves of enemy ships, and a relaxed big ships navigation mode for exploration. Additionally, players have access to a limited selection of weapons and starships. While the core gameplay is solid, content is sparse due to the expansive scope of these games, which typically require large teams and years of development at AAA studios. As a small team, we are diligently working to expand the game’s content and deliver a more comprehensive experience in the future.”

“To show our appreciation for early supporters, Starship Fighters: Galactic Warfare is currently offered at a reduced price during Early Access. As we continue to expand the game with new content and features, the price will gradually increase.”
