„The Early Access version of Starlight Re:Volver offers a representative slice of the final player experience, from combat in the worlds of So Mi to character upgrades and social activities in NIM. This may include introducing new playable characters to master, So Mi threads to explore, and bosses to challenge. We expect to expand the size of Nishi Island Metropolis and add additional activities and systems to tie the experience together. Of course, game balance, optimization, and bugfixes will be a continuous effort through early access as well.“

„Upon Early Access release, Starlight Re:Volver will feature 4 playable characters, each with their own unique kits, backstories, and voice lines. Players can explore 2 distinct So Mi threads, each with its own visual themes, enemies, and bosses. The combat system will be representative and support 4-player party play. During each dive, you'll be able to pick a combination of powerful charms that enhance your abilities and craft new weapons that can change your character's playstyle.

In addition, Early Access will introduce our first neighborhood in Nishi Island Metropolis! This area is expected to support dozens of concurrent users and offer various spots to hang out with friends, such as Kuma Cafe and Cherry Plaza. In the city, we plan to offer the ability to fish, craft, and enjoy a variety of minigames.“

STARLIGHT RE:VOLVER’S “RE:WORK” UPDATE IS OUT!

We have completely Re:Worked the combat experience:

Solo play is now a completely viable way to Dive, across all difficulties
Re:Fuel has been removed: play at your pace with more viable build options
RNG is a lesser factor for getting a peak build; an experienced player can now make any Dive work
Cooldowns decreased across the board, including Dashes
Enemy track & attack behavior tuned to be less overwhelming and scales to smaller group sizes

With the Re:Work update, we are also unveiling the start of our overarching narrative arc for Starlight Re:Volver. The once stable balance between Nishi Island and So Mi has begun to DRIFT, and the new generation of Divers has risen to the occasion to reverse it. However, a mysterious faction seeks to let it spread… over the course of Early Access, the conflict will further unfold, culminating in the first member of this mysterious faction being revealed.

Gamepad support is now available, and playing on Steam Deck is now possible with the experimental Proton update.

Linux support is not available at this point in Early Access, but will be available in the future.

Localization Update:

Based on reports of poor translation quality, we are temporarily removing support for other languages. Thanks for your patience as we add a higher quality translation in a future patch!
