Waarom vroegtijdige toegang?

'The game as a system is now mature enough for a public release featuring :
- 2 fully operational game modes (FLASHTRACKS focusing on music and CAREER adding more roguelike elements) .
- 3 levels created in collaboration with Jarring Effects (indie music label), a 4th one already being on the way with a new label...
- Tutorials, QoL features, LAN multiplayer and regular patch notes detailing all latest changes (currently on patch Ô.45).

We're currently discussing with several artists and labels to further expand the game's catalog (disco, techno, D&B, electro-rock and more...). But can't give names yet as it's still in negociation.

We're working on adding lots on content too gameplay wise, especially for CAREER modes, with new upgrades and modules. We also want to diversify enemies behavior to fully explore the game's mechanics potential.

A big goal for us is also to give the community the proper tools to create their own levels with an editor. This will be a big milestone so it will take a few months.

We want to expand multiplayer to online sessions featuring more than 2 players as well, again it's a big process so stay tuned.

On another note we would also like to create online and in person events where people can listen to music and play together. We tried the concept during the "Fête de la musique" this summer and it was a great success so we'll definitly do more of that.'

'We would like to keep the game in early access between roughly 6 months to a year. We'll keep you updated on its progress. Finding the right music and negociating contracts with labels can be tedious so it's always a long process.'

'There are LOTS of features we want to add to the game, here's a few of them :
- new musics and levels obviously
- an online multiplayer mode for several players
- tons of upgrades (from ~50 to ~100) and modules for career mode
- an editor for players to create their own level and playlists
- hardcore challenges for the try hards'

Wat is de huidige staat van de versie met vroegtijdige toegang?

'The game is fully playable on keyboard and gamepad with a tutorial and several game modes. No major bug has been discovered so it's stable but we still need to perform large scale playtests to be sure, as well as QoL improvements. All features listed in the "About This" section are operational.'

A NEW UNDERGRÔUND STAGE

Ô is a new kind of musical game centered on techno. We're collaborating directly with artists and labels to bring their music to life. Experience the sound in your own way and reach the best score before the end of the mix.

GROOVE TO FIND THE MOVE

Dance with any instrument of the tracks in each level. Compose your own choreography based on bass, drums, melodies or lyrics. You'll encounter other enemy dancers with their own moveset. Move as close to them at the right timing to electrocute the closest ones, flirt with them ! It's a french game after all...

But not too close, you'll get hurt and it will ruin the show.

GEAR UP

Unlock upgrades, customize automated weapons activated by the sounds of the music. You'll earn resources along the way that you can spend to come up with the best strategy. Find out which weapon works best with each kind of sound you hear.

DIG THE MAP

Explore the procedurally generated map. In it, you'll encounter fights, time trials or several recurrent rooms filled with all kinds of upgrades. The map generation can be customized in many ways to make sure it adapts to your needs and strategy. Better get moving though ! Time is ticking and the end of the song is coming.

PRICK UP YOUR EAR

Pay close attention to the music, events will occur as it progresses. Get ready for a boss fight on the drop. Take advantadge of respites to spend your resources and rethink your strategy. Soon enough, you'll read music instinctively and vibe with all of its variations.
