“Because some games are better when they are molded by the community. While the core gameplay loop is functional and playable, it's now ready to be expanded with more features and content (recipes, more structures, etc...) and that's why Early Access. I want players to have something to play now, and then make it better and more fleshed out based on feedback. That way it's possible to have value buying now, while having more to look forward to soon.”

“Since the intention for early access is to expand based on player feedback, the goal would be to leave early access in approximately 3 to 6 months. This may change based on how quickly the planned updates can be completed and/or any unforeseen complications involving updates.

The first planned updates include Hot Potato and Expansion updates which will see more uses for the spatula, hot items affecting the player and more ways to improve your bus.”

“The goal is to expand the game with more recipes, events and upgrades. Some of the planned updates include quality of life updates (such as multiple save slots and more settings), more placeable structures, decorations, ingredients and servable recipes.

This version should include the previously mentioned Hot Potato and Expansion updates which increase the re-playability by expanding the progression and gameplay.”

“Basics of gameplay are functionally there, ready to be expanded upon and polished up. Having a solid foundation should make expanding easier and gives something to build upon in the following weeks and months.”

“The intention is start at a lower price, and increase based on added content. This way, initial purchasers get everything for a lower price for supporting early.”

The world is full of containers of loot and potentially grindable meat! Find new items and gear in the wasteland.

Fight!

Your sharp wits aren't enough anymore, fight for your life using hammers, sawblade axes, shotguns and more as you explore the wasteland for new ingredients.

Craft!

Loot for items and craft new tools and foods with the new grid based inventory and crafting system.

Cook!

Opening the restaurant allows customers to stop by and order your... delicious? food? You receive and order from a customer, try to make something resembling the order then deliver it to the plate. Click the order ticket and send them on their way! This earns you money (shotgun shells) that you can use later!

Food Poisoning!

Undercooking food or using less than quality ingredients can result in sick and upset customers looking to beat you up, so watch out for that...

  • One-Bus Basebuilding: Operate out of your wrecked survival bus—stash loot, cook meals, and plan your next move.

  • Ambient Events: Encounter random bandits, roadkill, and traps that spawn dynamically in the world.

  • Optional Tutorials & Intro: Skip the intro if you're returning or start with basic tools and items for a smoother first run.

  • Replayable by Design: Each run can feel different thanks to modifiable game settings and randomized loot.

  • Punchable Everything: When all else fails, just throw hands. It might work.

  • Built with ADHD in Mind: Tight feedback loops, flexible pacing, and lots of nonsense to keep things moving.
