„We at Dark Machine have chosen to use Early Access as a way to get feedback throughout the development process. There’s a long way to go still, and we feel it’s important to include the community in that process.“

„White Knuckle is planned to be in early access until it is content complete and polished, which we currently estimate to be about a year. The game is fully funded and will be launching into 1.0 regardless of the success of Early Access.“

We plan to launch Early access with the first 3 of a planned 7 regions for the Campaign. Beyond that, we are planning on new game modes: Challenge and Sandbox. And further than that: New Items, creatures, secrets, shortcuts, and on and on.“

„The game includes polished content up through the three current regions: Silos, Pipeworks, and Habitation, with plenty of items, hazards, creatures, and secrets. Use momentum-based movement mechanics with precision, deploy a variety of tools and resources, and ascend as fast as you can.

Just don't lose your grip, there’s eternity below you.

Manage your inventory or become encumbered and fall to your death. Failure to grab what you need from your bag in time can spell disaster.

Through run-based meta-progression, you’ll discover and unlock varied augmentations.

Bolster your will to ascend.

You're not alone down here. Strange life flourishes far underground, and darker things haunt these halls. Something oozes from the depths– following you, growing angrier… and it won't let up.

Travel through different regions with unique threats and gameplay challenges during your attempted escape of the underground megastructure.

The deep dry storage of the Silos, the putrid sewers of the Pipeworks, the haunted piers of Habitation. Each area will require adaptation to new obstacles and denizens.
