Protect Larry is a strategy game where you lead your army through a series of battles across different environments. During each battle, you're free to switch back and forth between two modes. In commander mode, you can survey the field from above and issue tactical orders to your troops. Or, you can enter the fray yourself in soldier mode, taking control of any of your units from a third-person perspective to turn the tide firsthand.

Each run plays out across a branching map of possible battlefields. After each victory, you might be able to upgrade your troops, recruit new units, or unlock new abilities and bonuses for both commander and soldier modes. Be careful when plotting your path - the environment for each battle can influence the rewards and opportunities that await you.

Protect Pine Valley lets you approach each run in your own way. You can complete the game entirely from the commander's vantage or fight every battle firsthand in soldier mode or switch between the two as the situation demands. As you progress, you'll shape your own path of upgrades and advantages - maybe enhancing the units you control in soldier mode, or unlocking abilities that can only be used in commander mode. How you choose to fight - and how you choose to Protect Pine Valley - is entirely up to you.
