When you lose your most valuable senses, a combination of the rest has to do. Feel, scream, smell, and manage. The game uses a variety of senses to aid the player throughout their journey. Feel: You feel around your surroundings in order to gather information from your current location. Smell: smell the surrounding environment in order to get a good indication of what kind of challenges may lay ahead. Scream: Scream out loud in order to deter your foes as well as draw attention from other NPCs. Step: Forwards, Backwards, Left, Right.

Watch out for those who can see you, for there are plenty. There are several enemies who will take you into even deeper darkness. These enemies have unique ways of posing threats, whether by harming you directly, damaging one of your senses, or moving around. Make sure to learn how to deal with them in order to make sure you don't give them satisfaction.

Solve puzzles and do anything and everything in your power in order to escape from this hellscape. Feel and hear to get clues and solve intriguing and challenging puzzles. Use all that is within your inventory to harm anything that tries to get in your way, and make sure you don't bump your head into walls when walking.

Interact with dwellers in an unseen place. They have many stories and secrets to tell. There are many characters throughout the journey who can help you learn more about your surroundings and help you with your troubles. In an unknown place, having the ability to communicate properly with the locals is mandatory.
