  • Broad Device Compatibility (via USB):

    • Full support for: PS4 (all revisions), PS5, PS5 Edge, PS5 Access, and PSVR2 Sense controllers.

    • Note: Xbox and other controllers have limited functionality – button testing is available, but calibration and advanced features are unsupported due to hardware restrictions.

  • Real-Time Analytics & Diagnostics:

    • Precise analog stick tracking: Detect and address drift with circularity testing, real-time X/Y plots, drift monitoring, and error calculations.

    • Test Every Input: Verify face buttons, shoulder buttons, analog triggers, D-Pads, touchpad, speaker, and microphone.

    • Advanced Feature Testing (PS5): Test haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, lightbars, LEDs, and more.

  • Advanced Calibration (Supported Controllers Only):

    • Perform auto center-point and auto full-range analog stick calibration routines to mitigate drift and ensure accuracy.

    • Manual tuning options available for fine control.

    • Built-in support for calibrating original PS4, PS5, and PS5 Edge Analog Stick Modules (Note: Edge modules require hardware mode - see GitHub lewy20041/Dualsense_Edge_Modules_Callibration for details).

    • Built-in calibration support for PS5 Access and PSVR2 Sense controllers.

  • Fake Controller Detection:

    • Identify counterfeit PS4 controllers.

  • Controller Telemetry & Hardware Info:

    • Retrieve hidden usage statistics from PS5 controllers: Usage history, button/stick actuation counts, charge cycles, active time, and more.

    • Fetch detailed internal information: Vendor/Product IDs, firmware versions, build dates, hardware revisions, battery status, MAC addresses, serial numbers (Details vary by model).

Important Compatibility Note

While DriftGuard offers extensive features for PlayStation controllers, please remember that Xbox and other controllers have limited functionality. Calibration and advanced telemetry features are not supported for these devices, although buttons and analog sticks testing works perfectly.
