Miksi Early Access?

Tlatoani is in a fairly advanced stage of development, and its core gameplay loop is almost complete. That said, we want to work with as much player feedback as we can, to polish and improve player experience. We hope that Early Access will give us just the right amount of dedicated players, and feedback to help us.

Tlatoani is currently intended to stay in Early Access until about Q1 2026.

We plan the 1.0 version of Tlatoani to have a fully realized historical campaign, map and scenario editor, expanded random map options and more gameplay systems. We also want to improve game visuals, as well as expand on the music and sound FX. Finally we want to give our players more control over their game, and launch with mod support. The exact details of this roadmap can and will evolve based on the feedback we receive during the Early Access period.

The initial Early Access version of Tlatoani launches with a functional gameplay loop, a sample of the historical campaign, as well as a few scenarios and a random map game mode.

The final price of the game will depend on the level of quality and scope we achieve by the end of Early Access. We invite you to buy Tlatoani now if you want to support the development and are happy with what it currently offers.
