About This Game

『NOAH: 2050』 presents you with one question:

“What decision will you make in the face of the death you caused?”

You’ll find the answer through your gameplay.

『NOAH: 2050』 incorporates environmental issues, which can otherwise seem daunting, into its backdrop. It’s structured in a way that allows you to explore environmental problems from various perspectives, beyond just extreme weather phenomena.

Enjoy 『NOAH: 2050』, set in the near future of 2050, where you’ll experience various events and psychological shifts in characters.

World Setting: Between Reality and Unreality

In the near future of 2050, we have failed to reduce carbon emissions.

Frequent extreme weather events and disasters caused by severe environmental pollution have become unstoppable for any nation.

As sea levels rise and desertification spreads, inhabitable areas continue to increase.

At that time, a leading developed country, ranked third in the global economy, was submerged underwater, shocking many people.

In a belated response, the world began to focus on environmental issues.

In 2032, Environmental Organization (EO), an independent global agency with the power to enforce measures on environmental issues, was established.

EO oversees regulations on environmental pollution, nature restoration projects, and the improvement of living conditions for environmental refugees.

However, despite EO’s efforts, environmental restoration projects have been slow, and the situation worsened as the number of environmental refugees rapidly increased. EO found itself focused solely on resolving the housing issues of these refugees.

But it’s not just homes that are threatened.

As the ecosystem's cycle breaks down, growing crops has become increasingly difficult, leading to a severe food crisis.

Foreseeing this, HR Company introduced SOL-A Capsules, a food substitute that provides a full day’s meal in a single capsule.

In 2038, when growing conventional crops became difficult and food prices skyrocketed, the SOL-A Capsules emerged to resolve the food crisis.

However, the timely introduction of the capsules stirred up various controversies.

As the stable world began to falter, the CEO of Won-Kang Construction, eager to control the situation, decided to build his own tower, the Ark.

The tower's construction plan was established, funded by investments from several wealthy individuals.

Although the plan faced opposition during the approval process due to concerns about environmental and view obstructions, the promise to house some environmental refugees secured the construction permit.

Though you live an ordinary life, there’s nothing ordinary about the events that await you in these extraordinary times.
