You’re part of Paranormal Exploration Foundation - an organization that examines paranormal activities.

A couple living deep in the Alaska Mountains was due to pick up supplies and report on their living conditions on June 1st, but they never showed up.
This house has a history of strange events dating back to the 1950s, which have been closely watched by PEF.

Concerned for their safety, you've been sent to check on the family and discover what has happened to them.
