“Presented as a Metroidvania, Demon Quest is ultimately a platform/puzzle game, but a very good one at that. While its cryptic storyline and mechanics make this game a title not for everyone, it's still a very good game for anyone who wants to invest a little. While I spent about ten hours playing the game, this lifespan will depend heavily on your ability to understand its puzzles. Despite some inaccuracies in its gameplay, Demon Quest is a particularly satisfying game with its unique atmosphere and the rare satisfaction you feel when you thwart its traps. Demon Quest is a must-play for anyone who enjoyed Limbo.”
