« Early access will provide us with the unique and invaluable opportunity to involve the Steam community in the development of this game. We have put a great deal of time into development; now it is time to start molding it around you. We want to make it so that you can not only play, but also be a part of our Fractured Dream. »

Pendant combien de temps environ ce jeu sera-t-il en accès anticipé ?

« We plan to be in early access for about a year. During that time, we would like to release updates filled with exciting new content at least every couple of months. »

« The full version of this game should include full map access, diverse plant and animal life, and a complete story. Early access will remain isolated from story elements to preserve the experience in the event of a final release. »

« We are currently in an alpha version of this game and are using this release as proof of concept. While playable, our game currently allows only basic functions like movement, object interaction, and limited crafting capability. We encourage you to be one of the first people to lay eyes on Xeno-Omnari and join us for the ride. »

Welcome to the world of Fractured Dream! Now, imagine waking up on an alien planet with no memory of who you are, or how you got there. You will have no choice but to immerse yourself in the mind of Luca Harrison as you explore a new vibrant world in an attempt to piece together your broken memories. You will be pushed to your limits as you navigate this new environment, fight to survive, and search for your lost identity. Come and experience our vast world as you discover yourself a little more with every Fractured Dream.

Realistic Alien Life

One of the biggest frustrations that many players have when replaying games is that the animal AI is too basic, or extremely easy to outsmart when it comes to hostile fauna. We seek to combat that by learning how to navigate, program, and adapt some of the most advanced modern artificial intelligence programs to give our alien animals more realistic, and in some cases threatening, behavior patterns.

Graphics

When we look at many indie games they always seem to value unique and incredible concepts over graphical quality... we decided that we were going to do both. We are hand modeling the base of every single animal, plant, character, and inch of the map with extreme detail to ensure that our game looks the absolute best that it can. As a general rule, if we are going to ask people to spend their time on our game then they deserve to know that they are receiving the best quality work that we can offer.

Expansive World

It has always been a staple of survival games to place the player in an extreme and unforgiving environment. This usually ends with the player spending 40 hours exploring a barren desert, snowy wasteland, deserted island, endless ocean, or expansive jungle... we didn't want that. A staple of our game is the fact that it takes place in all five of those regions at different times during a playthrough. Our diverse map ensures that players will never burn out walking through one environment for hours on end, and will instead feel like they are discovering something new the entire time.

Who Are We?

HandFish Studios started as a passion project between two lifelong friends when we were kids... as we grew older a lot changed, but never our love of videogames. Gaming brought us closer and shaped our lives as we grew up, now that we are moving forward to a new chapter, we wanted to give that to the next generation. We began production on Fractured Dream in January of 2024, near the end of our senior year of high school with one goal in mind... create something that people will enjoy, something that they'll remember. We hope that some of the excitement and enjoyment that we have had making this rubs off onto you as you experience the wonders inside of our Fractured Dream.
