What is a desktop pet?

Back in ancient times, there was a type of computer software that showed a little character moving around your desktop. They were entertainingly annoying and very popular. This project aims to create a modern take on that genre by incorporating a touch of contemporary game logic into the characters, along with good visuals and physics-powered interactivity.

Features in the demo (coming soon)

  • Elly: a cranky punkish/goth girl who stares at you with judging eyes
  • Jiggle physics: rich simulations for hair, cloth, breasts and butt
  • Highly expressive: voice acted, lipsync and many facial expression
  • Toggleable clothing
  • Early character creator included

Planned features for the full release

  • More options for the Character creator, including custom textures
  • Workshop support
  • More voice acted characters
  • More complex behaviors
