Like a real-life abacus, it can be used to perform arithmetic operations like addition, subtraction, multiplication, and even division. By using this desktop application, you can learn how to use a virtual abacus before purchasing a physical one.

The abacus and similar devices have been used by many ancient civilizations throughout history for mathematical uses. By learning how to use an abacus through Desktop Abacus, you can preserve the obsolete practice of operating an abacus, which was later superseded by the adding machine and the pocket calculator.
