Om spillet

Every battle unfolds from your adventurers’ point of view, but the one actually “directing every move” is you—the blacksmith-strategist—writing their action script on the Ouroboros Timeline.

Enemy actions are displayed in one-second intervals, clearly showing what will happen, and when, over the next 20 seconds.
With that entire window of time laid out in front of you, you can precisely decide when to block, when to stun, and when to charge up a big attack.

Slot weapon attacks into the Ouroboros Timeline to:

  • Strike before deadly enemy skills go off

  • Chain actions together to trigger affix reactions that play off one another

  • Plan not only where each weapon sits on the timeline, but also which weapons you repair and prepare to fit your long-term plan

Different weapon weights and types directly affect how long it takes to swing.
If you time your attacks just right, you can seize the advantage—or even trigger unexpected chain reactions across the timeline.

On this battlefield where the future has already been revealed, every decision you make is a carefully placed step toward victory.

Legendary blacksmiths don’t just “make” weapons—true masters start by choosing the right mold and materials, shaping a weapon’s personality one hammer strike at a time.

Along your journey, you’ll obtain different materials from powerful enemies and various events. Each material carries its own affix and traits, and each weapon mold has its own attack pattern and tempo. You can:

  • Choose the appropriate weapon mold, then socket materials into its slots to let affixes and weapon traits interact with each other

  • Experiment with different “Mold × Material” combinations to forge the core weapon that defines your build

Here, power isn’t left up to raw numbers or luck alone—it’s defined by your combinations and your design.
Every hammer blow is a choice for your build; every completed weapon is the embodiment of your ideas and your journey—and a new threat your enemies must face.

What truly determines your ceiling isn’t just the weapon in your hands, but the talent tree behind it—over 400 small, medium, and large talents forming a meta-progression path of forging outside the battlefield.

These talents don’t reset just because a single run ends. Instead, every adventure and every death feeds into your growth.
Some talents turn you into a glass cannon at full HP and a sturdy wall at low HP. Others specialize in certain weapon types, allowing weapon molds to grow alongside you. There are even high-risk talents that chip away a bit of your HP every time you attack, in exchange for damage that spirals higher the longer you fight. You can:

  • Choose different talent routes—full-HP burst, low-HP survival, or self-damage berserker builds—based on your playstyle and risk tolerance

  • Let each death become fuel, growing stronger bit by bit as you search for the build that fits you best

Here, strength isn’t left to stats and RNG alone—it’s shaped by your point allocation and your design choices.
Every talent point you spend is a statement about your build; every talent route you unlock is the shape of your thinking and your journey made visible.

No run in this game starts with you charging out the door. Before every adventure, you’ll stop by the restaurant for a proper meal. Not only does the head chef prepare a special menu, there’s also a picky cat critic who rates your dishes and influences the buffs you take into your next outing.

Ingredients accumulate over multiple adventures: defeating monsters and clearing events gives you new ingredients to bring back.
To turn those ingredients into a finished dish, you need to pass the chef’s little “test” each time—tuning three key nutrients (Ampaya Essence, Beast Meat, and Grain Husk) so their values land as close as possible to each nutrient’s red target range. You’ll need to:

  • Adjust the ratio of the three nutrients over and over based on the properties of your current ingredients, aiming for the red ranges to cook a highly rated dish

  • Deliberately ignore “perfect numbers” and experiment with off-balance recipes, gambling on unusual buffs—or accepting the risk of nasty debuffs

Even if you don’t line every nutrient up perfectly with its red range, the dish doesn’t automatically fail.
Unexpected combinations can produce strange meals that grant surprising buffs or debuffs.

Every meal is preparation for what comes next: will you eat safely and play it conservative, or take a bite of risk in exchange for a run full of wild variables?

On your adventures, the world you travel is built from hexagonal tiles. Every step you take consumes one point of movement, and you have a strict step limit—go over it, and “Calamity” strikes, empowering all enemies and instantly ramping up the pressure in battle.
You’ll have to choose between safe routes, shortcuts, and treasure tiles, carefully planning how far each run should push its luck.

Each run also hides over 80 random events waiting for your decisions. Some grant materials and equipment; others conceal tough enemies or unexpected costs. You can:

  • Decide, based on your remaining steps and risk appetite, whether to take the long way around and play it safe, or gamble on a shortcut and face enemies empowered by Calamity

  • Weigh rewards and trade-offs across different event options, choosing whether this run will be a cautious trek or a high-risk, high-reward expedition

On this hex map, every tile and every step is your own decision.
Where you stop, and which events you trigger—those choices guide this particular run toward a completely different ending.
