It's June 2023 in Columbus, Ohio -- 10 years since Neal and Jack graduated, and 8 years since they last spoke. Follow two once-best friends' reluctant descent through classrooms and memories in Our Dirge, a game about growing up in a certain place & time, and making up for the time we lost.

The storytelling is excellent and the characters are well fleshed out, making you emotionally invested in their lives. There is a real sense of doom in the air though, so maybe don’t get too invested in them!”

The class reunion has ended.

Old friends Neal and Jack, awkwardly reunited, take a late-night drive over to their old elementary school, shut down for summer break. For some reason, it's open.

Our Dirge is a game made in RPGMaker MV. It's somewhere between a visual novel, adventure game, and walking simulator. It's about a lot of things. I guess it's mostly about being an adult.

Characters

Meander through hallways and make offhand comments from the perspective of Neal Lin. Following close behind you and chiming in is Jack Langel.
