「For us, Early Access is the best way to ensure that The End’s Beginning reaches its highest possible quality in its final form.

At present, the Prologue and Chapters 1–4 are fully completed and playable. The outline for Chapter 5 and the Epilogue has been finalized, with draft scripts already written and several key CG illustrations in production.

The Early Access phase allows us to gather valuable player feedback while polishing the remaining chapters — including voice acting adjustments, visual refinements, and overall presentation improvements. We have a clear development roadmap and have already allocated sufficient resources for completion. Community feedback during Early Access will help us fine-tune priorities and ensure the final release meets player expectations while staying on schedule.」

「The current Early Access build already includes the full main storyline from the Prologue through Chapter 4, along with all core systems and major art assets. Players can experience approximately 5–6 hours of complete story content.

The planned full version will expand and refine the game in the following areas:

Story Content

Addition of Chapter 5 and the Epilogue, continuing the main narrative and concluding the character arcs.

The branching narrative structure will continue, featuring multiple endings (including both tragic and uplifting outcomes), each with substantial buildup, extended resolution sequences, and high-quality CG illustrations.

Player choices made in earlier chapters may influence the final outcome.

Art & Presentation

Additional character expressions, effects, and CG illustrations for later chapters (several key battle illustrations are already in production).

Expanded use of the dynamic effects system throughout more story scenes.

Audio

New background music tracks for later chapters to enhance atmosphere.

Optimization and refinement of selected voice lines and sound effects based on Early Access player feedback.

Features & User Experience

A fully unlocked CG Gallery in the full version, allowing players to review all collected artwork.

Improvements to the Affection System and branching logic based on community feedback to ensure a smoother and more coherent experience.」

Story Introduction

The story takes place in an ancient and distant kingdom—Shermanland.

Located at the pinnacle of the World Tree—Sherman Tree, scholars fortunate enough to have visited this place are amazed by its beauty and wonder, hailing it as the “Gods’ Backyard.”
Historical records and mythological tales recount its existence, which has since faded into the past.
In the year 504 of the Sherman calendar, in October, the favored child of the gods fell from the sky, turning to ashes within days.
Later scholars believe that this event is closely related to the power struggles between the Blood Clan, the Human Clan, the Royal Clan, and the Witch Clan.
Surrounding them, a mysterious blond boy seems to be the key to unraveling all the mysteries…

To save his brother Kander Dahl and his companions, the story's protagonist, Carter Evan, takes a daring risk alone. After failing to negotiate with the Sherman Royal Family, he is executed. However, at the moment of his death, a mysterious force sends him back to Shermanland five years earlier. Evan vows to take a different path and protect those who are important to him. Throughout his journey, Evan forms deeper bonds with his companions：

Fighting side by side with his brother, he saw the clumsy tenderness beneath his stern exterior...
Witnessing the gentle and kind-hearted young prince grow into a king, steadily advancing toward his rightful throne...

And then there's the cautious and timid deputy captain of the self-defense force, who never backs down at critical moments; the rough and bold tavern owner; the shrewd yet principled flower vendor; the loyal royal servant; and the adorable heterochromatic Persian cat...

The various "unexpected surprises" he encountered on his journey gave Evan the courage to face all the harsh realities.

The united tribes' conspiracy, the man-eating blood vine incident, the refugee riots, the impending withering of the Sherman Tree, the return of the Blood Clan, the royal family's rule teetering on the edge...
Why did the royal family still fall after eradicating the roots of corruption?
Why did the important people still die before his eyes, even after preventing the downfall of the dynasty?
Every time he reached a dead end, who was the one that killed him and yet granted him rebirth?

Time and again, surviving desperate situations, returning to the starting point at the cost of his life, and repairing and strengthening his bonds with "them," can Evan ultimately turn the tide?

Character Introduction

Carter iven

The protagonist of this story, Carter Evan, is a young man who loves adventure and possesses a lot of peculiar knowledge.
He once lived with his brother, Kander Dahl, at the Hyacinth Orphanage. After reaching adulthood, he was taken away by his biological parents, leading the brothers down very different paths.
In a battle, he died after failing to negotiate with the royal family, only to be sent back to the world five years earlier by a mysterious force.

The cheerful and confident young leader of the self-defense force, Kander Dahl, is an extremely protective older brother.
Due to his father, Kander Ray, the leader of the revolutionary army, Dahl was considered an ominous presence by those around him from a young age. Yet, he ultimately ended up following the same path as his father by a twist of fate.
After Evan arrived at the Hyacinth Orphanage, Dahl took it upon himself to act as Evan's guardian, considering himself his older brother.

Sherman Haer
"May you always remain clear-minded and upright, accompanying me through the chaotic night."
Sherman Hall is a warm-hearted yet scheming young prince, lacking some common knowledge that ordinary people have, and possessing a dual personality.
As a prince of Shermanland, he never set foot outside the palace due to the queen's strong protection. After coming of age, Hall left the capital to travel and met Evan.
Through his interactions with Evan, Hall began to contemplate what it means to be a truly wise ruler and started to resist the evil force within him that tempted him towards corruption and downfall.

Julius
"If I can meet you again in the end, then the future path will not be a wrong one."
A mysterious cat-loving shaman who can foresee the future.
Julius is the second oldest being on the Sherman continent, surpassed only by the Sherman Tree God. He has existed since the continent was in chaos thousands of years ago, always acting as the agent of the gods. However, his approach has recently changed, as if something has made him realize that there are many things in the world that cannot be defined by rules.

Vlad
"Under the tide of times, ordinary people are nothing but a speck of dust in history. I merely lit the fuse."
A powerful and insane vampire cursed with immortality.
Vlad has been operating among humans as the deputy director of the Inspectorate, but his true identity is that of the leader of the vampire clan that was exterminated two hundred years ago. His ultimate wish is to achieve true death, for which he has devised a mad plan spanning centuries.
