You are the chief editor of a growing newspaper. Correct drafts from your writers, decide which news make it to the frontpage and their tone. Make audience numbers go up and be loyal to their interests, or instead favour important figures and win their love or their hate in this ever-changing world

Guide the narrative

Stories can be told in many ways. As a chief editor, you get to decide which. Will you try to please your audience? Will you be sensationalistic? Or you'll try to steer the narrative in a direction that suits a possible ally?

                           

Correct the drafts from your writers

A variety of drafts will come in each day for different sections of the newspaper. It's your job to make sure they are fit to publish. Any mistakes will make your newspaper look unserious and affect readership

Make the newspaper reach the top ranks

The CEO of 'The Citizen' trusts that your vast experience and skills will help the newspaper grow large enough to compete with the big fish. You'll need to meet recurrent objectives, or otherwise face layoff

 

Keep an eye on your back

Be careful who you mess with. Some people have more power and fewer scruples than what you think. Everyone is just a pawn here. Choose your allies -and your enemies- wisely
