The Demo for Vampirii has been updated. The update includes:
1. Dialogue and narration fixes.
2. Clarification added for the "Explore vampire powers" menu.
3. Clarification added regarding the exploration of a building in the condemned area.

What is Vampirii? A Ren'Py-based, choice-driven visual novel that features non-linear game play with the possibility to be played indefinitely. The features include

• Vampire feeding choices and consequences.
  
• Areas that you can visit multiple times.
  
• Leveling and perks.
  
• Quest chains, presented in a realistic, believable fashion.
  
• A new kind of a threat to vampires, necessitating novel solutions.
  
• Several player lairs.
  
• Combat encounters (unlimited supply) with increasing variety and unpredictability.
  
• Left for dead system, depending on the time at night and type of enemy.
  
• Ability to beat the game without doing the "Main Quest."
  
• Access to transportation, resulting to additional areas.
  
• Multiple endings. Some endings are "final" and some let you play indefinitely.
  
• Alternative ways to reach certain story milestones.
  
• Not all choices are made equal. Some offer much easier gaming experience than others.
  

What is the main premise? Presenting vampirism in a new way, introducing new elements while keeping certain key concepts intact.

Immerse in a realistic gameplay loop. If you ask yourself "What would it be if I really woke up as a vampire?", then this game is for you. Manage blood levels, pay attention to the time of night, address the wear and tear of your clothes, and try to raise money for those hard-to-get things, while not making it too oppressive to be fun.

What does the Demo include? The Demo contains the raw version of what would be Act 1. It is better to look at it as a "free Early Access" to the first part of the game. There may be parts that still need polishing and there is no music.





You, a young man who fantasized about being a vampire, got what you wished for. To your surprise, vampires are not at the top of the food chain. Can you survive the dangers? Immerse in this first person visual novel and find out what threatens the mortal and the undead.

This is a text-heavy visual novel in which progress and final outcome depend on the player's choice.

Entirely new, original concept. Vampirii addresses the topic of vampirism in a novel, original fashion, a breath of fresh air for those members of the audience who want a change from the old tropes.




The way how one becomes a vampire is different from what is commonly believed. There may be some new ways of feeding, in addition to the most suspected one. Research in that direction continues.

The origins and likely purpose of vampirism are examined in a new light, giving the player a new, never experienced before undead adventure.

Hunt and feed as you wish and bear the consequences of your choices. Some say that power does not corrupt - it simply allows you to show your true face. Are you ready to reveal yours?

"She wanted to play football with your head. Sadly, vampires' heads don't last when detached from the rest of the vampire. You perish. Part of you in the stomach of a monster, part of you - turned to fine dust. A small group of vampires, in a great need of help, is languishing nearby. Their fate remains uncertain."
