Varför Early Access?

“My initial scope was limited to covering World War 1. But as I finished development of this time period I realized it felt rather unsatisfying to end the game at the signing of the Treaty of Versailles. As if it was merely setting up future conflicts.
Therefore I've opted to continue development in order to expand the duration of the game. This means covering the time period of 1914-2000, with a special emphasis on World War I & II, The Interwar and The Cold War.
For this reason I want to involve players throughout the development to ensure the game remains both engaging and historically accurate.”

Ungefär hur länge kommer det här spelet att vara i Early Access?

“The roadmap is divided into 5 major stages. I consider the first one (World War One) practically finished, something which has taken me roughly a year of full-time development. I'm going to develop and refine each stage to the same degree. Therefore a very rough estimate might be around 3-4 years.”

“The complete version is intended to cover the years 1914-2000 with distinct gameplay for four major historical periods.

“I intend to keep the same price throughout development as well as for the finished version.”

“Community feedback is something I value highly. Not just for the purpose of ensuring the game is enjoyable and bug-free, but also due to the very real history my game covers.
In practical terms this means I'm active in both the Steam and Reddit community for my game. Whether this be for discussions, suggestions, or bug reports.”

You're put at the helm of your nation during Europe's most violent century.
You'll have to sacrifice everything your country values for a chance to emerge triumphant.
Whether you rise or fall there's a price to pay.
If you manage the aftermath properly you'll be ready when the storm clouds gather once more...

Gameplay

  • Choose any nation to lead through the 20th century.
  • Manage each aspect of your country at a macro level.
  • Maneuver and organize infantry, artillery, planes and navies.
  • Oversee production and supply of military equipment and resources.
  • Undertake nation-wide efforts to conduct research, industrialization and integration.
  • Engage in diplomacy to stack the odds in your favour.

Immersion

Every aspect of leading a nation is covered. Emphasis will depend on your country's current situation. During war you'll order and direct troops, whilst at peace you'll do a delicate balance of keeping your country and economy stable. Certain worldwide events might have you tackling other aspects such as pandemics, recessions or re-armament.

  • Several nations have unique content, events and challenges to manage.
  • You'll have many opportunities to diverge the course of history, with actions and writing to reflect your choices.
  • The game doesn't end after peace is signed. War had a tremendous human and material cost. This price will be made very apparent.
