Varför Early Access?

“Cutout World was in development for a long time, as a talented programmer saw the potential to overcome the challenges of implementing interactions and creating game assets in game development with the help of generative AI.

With the completion of the in-game authoring tools that allow for the creation of quest-based games, we believe it is the right time to rapidly advance the technology and product based on user feedback.

We look forward to working with the community through Early Access and creating something new and creative that hasn’t been done before.”

“We plan to complete development in approximately 3- to 4-month milestones, aiming for a full version release by Christmas 2024.”

“We plan to add a variety of systems and items for quest creation, and are exploring the possibility of integrating new generative AI services such as 3D models, sound effects, and BGM to enhance the game creation experience.

We aim for Cutout World to evolve into a platform for developing and experimenting with new game content, potentially going beyond traditional game types by utilizing AI.”

Hur är det nuvarande läget i versionen med Early Access?

“In-game authoring tools for creating game content and an underlying system for sharing and playing ser-generated content are all in place, Guided documentation implemented as in-game quests. Other, more detailed features and information can be found in the game information on the store page.”

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“We don't plan to raise the price at launch, but we will when multiplayer features are added.”

“New feature updates and content introductions for Cutout World will be communicated via the official website and YouTube channel shared on the store page, Community feedback and engagement will be done through our Discord and Steam forums.

Most importantly, we plan to work with the community to define new gameplay features, collaborate on content development, and evolve together.”
