Aim Assault brings good old arcade rail-shooter into the world of virtual reality. Relive the excitement of old-school arcade games now in VR. Try out various gunplay styles - single gun, dual wielding, with or without a crosshair. Race against the clock and try to beat your personal score or compete in the global leaderboards. Fight different types of enemies in intense situations and everchanging rich environments. Dodge barrages of bullets, kill the bad guys and save the world. The game is currently in development and will be released at the end of 2025. 

We are excited to give you the opportunity to play the first levels of our game for free. Immerse yourself in the action-packed VR rail shooter, full of shooting, dodging bullets, and fighting villains.

What’s in the demo?

• Training Level:Get used to automatic movement and straightforward gunplay. To prevent motion sickness, we’ve included an automatic tunnel system for smoother gameplay.

  • Collect med kits to regain health.

  • Play with or without a crosshair—perfect for both precision shooters and those who prefer a more immersive experience.

• Two Full Levels – Day and Night Villa:

  • Day Villa: Easier level for casual players.

  • Night Villa: A tougher challenge.

  • Additional Challenges:

    • One Life Mode: No hits allowed.

    • Insta Death Mode: Enemy pulls a trigger = game over.

LeaderboardsCompete on multiple leaderboards based on:

• Level (Day or Night Villa).

• Gun type (Basic, Silencer, Arcade).

• Single or dual guns.

• Crosshair or no crosshair.

This setup ensures players can find their favorite style and compete within their niche.

Gun Types and SkinsThe demo introduces Basic, Silencer, and Arcade guns, each with unlockable skins for added personalization.

FAQ:

• Free demo planned for release in Febuary 2025

• There is no aim assist in the game - only skill-based gameplay.

• Reload by pointing your gun towards the ground.

• There's a variety of difficulty/gun loadout setting, each with its own leaderboard.

• You can make combo shots by hitting enemies at least 5 times in a row without missing.

• In cases where players on the leaderboard have the same time, they will be ranked by their highest combo achieved in that run.

• You can dodge enemy bullets if you're fast enough.

• Shoot medikits to increase your health.

Discord

We regularly announce new locations, enemy types, bosses, and game mechanics on our Discord. We also host playtests with our fans on a regular basis. Join our community and share your thoughts on the demo with us.

Think you have the fastest aim? We’ve set up a global leaderboard to find out who’s the best shooter in the world. Each difficulty setting and gun loadout has its own leaderboard. Collect points in individual leaderboards to be the global number 1. Shere your best score with us on our Discord!
