Colonial Wars is a sci-fi futuristic real-time strategy and survival game where you face up to three different opponents on battle maps, fighting for control of resources and territory while also contending with the local alien wildlife population. 

These hostile aliens will attack and kill on sight, launching raids against your colony and others in waves and also defending their nest from the colonizers.

You must protect your colony from the aliens while battling other human factions at the same. The game features multiplayer and co-op modes for teaming up against the aliens, as well as a single-player mode for those who prefer to face the aliens solo. There are six different difficulty levels, ranging from very easy to impossible mode.

 The AI will get stronger as the difficult climbs. Making them capable of building large sprawling bases within minutes and sending overwhelming waves of attack units at you over time. The AI seeks out territory, resources, sends reinforcements when attacked, and utilizing various formations and sizes in their assaults.

Players can also eliminate alien nests scattered around the map. Defeating these nests provides rewards and benefits while preventing the aliens from spawning in that area. However, alien nests tend to be heavily concentrated with enemies, making them difficult to eliminate.

The game currently features about 15 different units, 10 building types, and two factions, each with unique abilities. In early access, at the moment the two factions do not have their abilities or special units and buildings.

 We are working on balancing first before fleshing out the factions. Each team that spawns on a map has its own color scheme, extending to buildings, farms, and units.

There are artillery units, fighter bombers, shock troops, assault infantry, and more!

The demo consists of a 30-minute time limit in which you try to eliminate as many aliens as possible; it's just you against the aliens, with no AI human factions involved.

In the full game, you will be able to play with up to three other players, fighting aliens simultaneously. Once outside early access, a campaign mode and a gauntlet mode will be available, increasing in difficulty as missions progress. The campaign will feature a storyline and various missions across different worlds.

Players will also be able to capture regions from other factions. The game includes various resources, such as fuel, power, carbon, and food, which are necessary for building units, structures, and advancements. Future updates will add more resources and additional elements to fight over.

The game features five different maps, showcasing diverse landscapes, from snowy terrains to alien worlds with a red hue, as well as dark, desolate environments that set the tone for battles. There is no population or building limit, and as the game progresses, the alien spawns will increase, leading to intense battles where you may face thousands of aliens while deploying a vast number of units to fight back!
