Shadey’s Quest is an autobattler roguelike where you help a cute monster called Shadey on his journey to defeat the fearsome King of Shadows. Shadey is full of energy and determination, but he’s not very smart, which is why you will have to feed him to make him strong, gather equipment for him and assist him in combat.

Travel across diverse hand-drawn locations, from barren Greylands to the majestic Black Seat. Each location contains unique obstacles, as well as tons of loot!

Encounter lots of enemies, each with their own unique skills. Shadey fights on his own, but he has no concept of ‘tactics’, usually attacking whatever’s in front of him. You’ll have to develop your own strategy and target Shadey at the most dangerous foes. Or just let him choose targets himself. He will do fine. Probably.

Usually, heroes become stronger by earning priceless experience in countless fights. Shadey can achieve the same thing simply by eating something.

Gather ingredients, cook them and feed Shadey to raise his stats. But be mindful about what you put in the cooking pot: each ingredient has several symbols, and cooking ingredients with the same symbol together can teach Shadey new abilities, like counterattack, critical strike or stun. You will also find potent equipment, which can make Shadey even stronger.

It is up to you if Shadey will become an evasive assassin, delivering shattering critical strikes, or an immovable tank, countering every blow.
