What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“As an enthusiast of Fantasy Maps, I've attempted to create several maps, but they were all static and couldn't change over time. Then, I had a bold idea: why not let these maps, like grand strategy games, evolve automatically based on certain logic, spanning thousands or even millions of years of history?

This game was born from that idea. It integrates Windows desktop customization, idle simulation, and easy and quick map creation, allowing everyone to create their own Fantasy Maps with just a few clicks. In your leisure time, you can set it as your desktop wallpaper and observe the changes in a world, experiencing the passage of history.

To receive as much feedback as possible during the development process, so we can better optimize the historical evolution logic and improve the convenience of map design, we have decided to adopt the Early Access model. Through this approach, we hope to gather valuable feedback from a wide range of users, continuously improving the game and providing a better experience for everyone.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The Early Access period is expected to last one to two years, depending on the development progress based on community feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“During the development process from Early Access to the full version, we plan try to enhance and refine the game in several areas through ongoing communication with our community and developers. Our plans include:

1.Exploring more in-depth simulation content and modes. This may potentially cover aspects such as economy, politics, culture, religion, and ethnicity, depending on development progress and community feedback.
2.Working towards a more comprehensive custom fantasy world framework. We hope to enable players and mod developers to create their ideal fantasy worlds, with the scope and features guided by community input and technical feasibility.

These plans represent our current vision, but the final implementation may vary based on player feedback, development challenges, and other factors encountered during the Early Access phase. We're committed to transparency and will keep our community updated on our progress and any changes to these plans.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current Early Access version of the game has completed its basic functions: it can randomly generate fantasy maps or allow players to customize maps quickly and easily. It simulates the military, diplomatic, and political behaviors of nations based on specific logic, creating a grand history spanning thousands of years. Additionally, the game can run stably as your desktop wallpaper.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually increase the price as new content and features are introduced.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community involvement is a core element of our game development process. We plan to interact with the community and gather feedback through the following methods:

1. Maintaining close communication with players on Steam forums and our official Discord server. These will be our preferred channels of communication.

2. Publishing monthly development logs to share game progress and address community concerns.

3. Organizing community creativity contests, encouraging players to share their created fantasy worlds, with outstanding works having the opportunity to be incorporated into the game.

4. Adjusting and optimizing mod creation tools based on community feedback to improve creative convenience.

Through these approaches, we aim to make the community a key force in driving the game's development, ensuring that the game content can meet the diverse needs of fantasy world enthusiasts. We believe that players' creativity and feedback will greatly enrich the gaming experience and guide our future development direction.”
