"Memories of Rachel” is a text adventure game in which you pick up keywords called "fragments" from your memories,

As you read through the scenario as if it were a visual novel game,

A short story called “Memories” may be disclosed.

As you answer using the key words from "Memories."

The secret that the protagonist holds, and the words he must say to Rachel, are revealed.

All you have to do is just that. No sudden shooting, no map clicking.

But the secrets of the protagonist and Rachel, the layered memories,

become thorns that stick in your heart and cannot be pulled out.

Story

The main character is Kaori Kashima, a second-year high school student.

While she is returning home with her best friend Rachel, Rachel is stabbed to death by a black hooded figure who suddenly appears.

Unintentionally, Kaori Kashima gets hold of a time machine and goes back to her original time.

Although she has indeed been able to go back in time, she finds herself in a slightly different world - a parallel world.

Simply going back in time would not have brought her to the parallel world.

Rachel is alive and moving before her eyes.

However, there was a reason why Kaori had to go back to the original world line.

Where was the point of divergence from the original world, which branched off into a parallel world?

She tries to find it in her memories and attempts to travel back in time at the correct junction, but...
