Cat Guardian: A Card-Based Tower Defense Game

"Cat Guardian" is a free-form tower defense card game that integrates resource management, construction, unit development, strategic deployment, and survival time challenges. Your main task is to gather resources daily and use them to build various combat cards to protect the Tree of Hope from zombie attacks at night. Whether the cats of Meowxus Planet can fulfill their mission of defending the Tree of Hope and survive on a zombie-infested continent is up to you!

You can explore and randomly encounter various scene cards, using cat cards to interact and gather different resources for daily collection. Keep the essential resources and sell the temporarily useless ones to accumulate wealth.




Once you have enough resources, you can construct various combat cards through the shop to defend the Tree of Hope. We have cat building cards that train cats with different abilities, functional building cards that improve cat living conditions and enhance wealth accumulation, defensive cards that block and delay zombie progress, and weapon cards that inflict various types of damage on zombies. The priority of building these cards depends on your strategy.





When night falls, zombies with different abilities come roaring from all directions with the shared goal of attacking the Tree of Hope and turning Meowxus Planet into a zombie planet.





You can train cats with various abilities to create your own cat army tactic. You might build strong walls to tightly surround the Tree of Hope with a conservative strategy. Or, you might believe that offense is the best defense and go all out to build weapon cards. The optimal strategy is yours to discover and practice.





When you have accumulated enough wealth, you can upgrade the Tree of Hope. As it grows, cats can explore a wider world and collect more precious resources.





A mysterious merchant roams Meowxus Planet and will appear with his magical cards at specific times. He loves Meowxus Planet but also adores money, so be sure to prepare enough gold to trade with him before he arrives.





Encountering bad weather will increase the difficulty of cat survival. You'll need to prepare in advance and build the necessary functional buildings to help them get through tough times.





You might face zombie ambushes during daytime exploration, have rare encounters to obtain precious cards, or find a temple to receive a blessing from the gods.





Occasional failures are good opportunities to optimize your strategy. Even after successfully clearing the game, you can start over and experiment with various new tactics—whether they are rigorous, fun, or wild. Everything is possible, and it’s up to you to create!
