Game Overview

    Family: Rise is a pixel-art strategy simulation game where you start with a family of one and grow your clan's influence across the city through procreation, establishing various industries, making wise decisions in critical situations, and engaging in strategic alliances with other families. Your ultimate goal is to become the most powerful and influential family in the city.

Game Features

• Family Growth: Children and Industries

    1. After creating your family, you marry, have children, and expand your family tree.

    2. Your children start from birth, go through kindergarten to university education, gain workplace experience, take control of industries, accumulate reputation to run for city magistrate, and ultimately contribute to the growth of your family's power.

    3. The game features 13 industries (70 businesses), unlockable through the tech tree. Your children can work in these industries, expanding the family's influence across the city.

    4. As the family grows, you will encounter various family events, such as troublesome children, assassination attempts by other families, business competition, and betrayal by members.

    5. You can mobilize your clan's forces to carry out the following actions: clan alliances, clan revenge, clan wars, uncovering spies, sending spies, clan peace negotiations, bribing magistrates, coups, impeachment, assassination, campaign support, defection, land grabs, looting, price manipulation, arms smuggling, human trafficking, and import/export negotiations.

• Control the city: After electing your children as magistrates, the real fun begins

    1. The appearance of the city will be determined by you. Which areas will be industrial zones, which will be scenic spots, and which will be transportation hubs? Through your planning, the city will become both beautiful and functional;

    2. You will have the authority to engage in various activities: recruiting beautiful women (to improve family genetics), attracting talent, attracting investment, collecting taxes, meeting with individuals with special abilities, buying and selling official positions, looting treasures, engaging in free trade/forced trade, liberating/enslaving residents, conducting massacres, and constructing water conservancy projects, among others;

    3. In order to govern the city well, you will also face many problems, such as: commodity shortages, rising prices, resident complaints, law enforcement disputes, resident resistance, increased unemployment, social unrest, spreading rumors, resident migration, neighbors seeking help, natural disasters, man-made disasters, emergency rescue, and more;

    4. When you are unable to obtain the position of magistrate through elections, you can launch an army to attack the target city and subdue hostile families by force;

• Rich events: family-related, other family-related, natural, city resident-related, and more.

    1. Natural events such as epidemics, economic crises, production industry bonuses/penalties, and resident riots;

    2. Family member events such as weddings, funerals, family member accidents, children causing trouble, children performing good deeds, children studying abroad, children dying, and city functionality defects;

    3.Hostile families' schemes against you, including assassination, kidnapping, peace negotiations, alliances, robbery, and infiltration;

    4. When your family's power is strong enough, various events will occur due to city governance;

• Schemes between families: For the glory of the family, no mercy is shown.

    1. When your family is weak, find a patron through marriage, gifts, or land transfers;

    2. As your family grows, collude with allies to impose economic blockades, borrow troops and money from allies, and eliminate rivals;

    3. When your family is powerful, eliminate allies and become the sole ruler;

• Strategic city warfare: When civilized methods fail to resolve issues, war becomes inevitable

    1. You mine resources, manufacture weapons, and build an army. When attacking a city, you must coordinate different units based on the enemy's military layout;

    2. Starting from iron-clad infantry in the agricultural age, as your family's technology advances, you unlock riflemen, artillery, tanks, bombers, anti-aircraft units, paratroopers, and special forces—each unit type has unique advantages;
