ARKWHALE is a new submarine casual simulator. As the captain of a submarine, you will devise tactics, navigate your vessel, and carry out dangerous missions to annihilate enemies. Operate complex nuclear turbines, adjust the weight of ballast water, and utilize a high-performance sonar system to ‘silently’ dominate the seas around the world.

This is a personal project developed by students. Therefore, the game may contain some basic bugs and issues. These are expected to be gradually improved with updates, but there may be inconveniences in the initial release. Your understanding is appreciated.

Manually Controllable Reactor System

It’s not just about combat! Operate a nuclear submarine from scratch with your own hands! Control rods, turbine rotation, circulation pumps, condenser temperatures, steam bypass valves… Come and experience the culmination of complex engineering technology!

Underwater acoustic models are different from the real thing. But the iconic sonar screen is there to help you relive reality.

Diverse Mission Modes

Three game modes are planned!

• Quick Play: Speedy and exhilarating, concluding in 15-30 minutes.

• Situation Mode: Overflowing with realism, lasting over an hour.

• Story Mode: An emotional journey exploring hidden underwater history. (currently under development).

What This Game Does Not Do

This game is not a hardcore simulator. Therefore, the performance and operation of the weapons featured differ from their real-life counterparts. I started making this game with the hope that more people could easily experience submarine warfare. Thus, while maintaining the essence of ‘submarineness,’ we adhere to the basic principle of not making it overly complex.
