Why Early Access?

“Early Access allows us to ensure we release the game in the best quality possible when hitting 1.0. We have always developed the Solasta franchise with Early Access in mind, in order to work with our players as closely as possible through their feedback, surveys and community contests. ”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We intend to stay in Early Access for about a year to adjust and polish the content of Solasta II for the 1.0 release - although the exact duration will depend on the amount of community requests we intend to tackle!”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Over the period of the Early Access, we will be doing several major updates to add the following type of content:
- Online co-op multiplayer
- More playable classes
- More playable ancestries
- Additional locations
- Additional monsters
- Additional quests

These updates will also include tweaks, adjustements, QoL changes and sometimes even additional content driven by community feedback.

The 1.0 version of Solasta II will increase the level cap to 10 and conclude the main questline. It will also include many new classes, ancestries, locations, spells, encounters, magic items, characters and monsters as well as several additional secondary quests on top of the existing Early Access updates. Of course, all community driven content and changes will also be included. ”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version of Solasta II will include a portion of Act I with a max level cap of 4. You will be able to create your party, play the beginning of the game, and explore a portion of the World Map - which is still in a fairly early stage of development and will thus receive many upgrades over time.

The character creation will start with 6 classes and 4 ancestries, with more to come as we push new EA updates. ”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“As we want to thank Early Access adopters for helping us while the game is not in its complete state yet, Solasta II will be cheaper during Early Access. ”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Tactical Adventures have always worked hand in hand with our community when it comes to Early Access game development. Players can expect surveys, adjustments as well as community contests to add their own content to the game! You can also join our official Discord server to chat with us directly.”
