A new version of the Helsinki Metropolitan VFR scenery is now available! This is not just an upgrade for X-Plane 12 – it’s a major expansion. The updated scenery includes custom-made versions of airports EFHV, EFLA, EFNS, and EFNU. As with the previous releases of FASimulations, this new version will feature breathtaking landscapes and hidden gems scattered throughout a wide area of Southern Finland.

Features:

• Hundreds of square kilometers of detailed scenery coverage

• High-resolution orthoimagery at 50 cm/pixel (approximately Zoom Level 16-17)

• Enhanced resolution orthophotos around airfields for added realism

• Includes new (2025) custom-modeled airfields: EFHV (Hyvinkää), EFNS (Savikko), and EFLA (Lahti-Vesivehmaa)

• EFMN and EFNU airfields carried over from the previous version

• Accurately modeled elevated hospital helipad (EFHY)

• Detailed helipad on the passenger ship Silja Serenade

• Decals applied throughout the scenery for sharp terrain detail down to ground level

• Extensively detailed Helsinki region featuring numerous new 2025-era custom models

• Forests seamlessly integrated to match the underlying orthophoto imagery

• Custom-built HDR night lighting across the entire area – experience highly realistic night, dusk, and dawn conditions

• Custom OSM-based facades throughout the region – Southern Finland's excellent OSM data ensures dense and accurate building coverage

This new version includes:

• Three newly added, custom-modeled general aviation airfields

• Numerous new buildings and updated models across the Helsinki region, reflecting recent urban growth and development
