Immersion

Experience the atmosphere of a frozen world ravaged by nuclear war. Explore various maps ranging from deep within the Canadian wilderness to the ruins of a city center. Depart and extract in an old restored steam train with seamless loading between levels, doing away with loading screens and keeping you immersed.

Hardcore

Survive the blistering cold as you navigate the surface scavenging for supplies and completing tasks. Fight for your life against mutated creatures caused by years of biological warfare and weaponized viruses used in the war. Kill or be killed in intense firefights with other survivors that want what you have.

Gun-smithing

Build and customize weapons using parts you find or bring scrap materials to the community mechanic to rig something up for you. 

Base Management

Complete tasks for the other members in your underground community of Nykanak. Bring home materials to make upgrades to the bunker. Gather supplies to keep your people alive and they will help you in return.

Single player

Since For Nykanak is single player, you can play at your own pace. No need to worry about keeping up with other players. You can pause the game mid-raid if you need to and not have to worry about someone else killing you. The game is not without its risks though, if you die you will lose everything you found in that raid.
