Norowareta: The Three Treasures is a first-person survival horror game set in Edo period Japan from a small team of game development students working under the name of Studio Crying Spider.


Assume the role of Lumi as she travels back to Japan in search of uncovering her past, only to find herself in an abnormal situation dragged back in time. Explore an isolated shrine tormented by the events of the past only equipped with a lantern and your trusty journal.

Solve puzzles and uncover the shrine's unspoken secrets and the terrors of one fateful night. Unravel the story of the former residents and those who were against them. Figure out what happened - is everyone else dead? What is the purpose of the three sacred treasures? Who is the malevolent entity that keeps whispering from the deep?

Navigate your way through the horrors buried deep beneath the shrine grounds and try to find your way out before one malevolent entity that controls the souls of the deep. Use the vast environment and items at hand as the means to defend yourself and find your way to escape before it's too late.

Rather than taking all of the inspirations as technical restrictions, Norowareta takes them as visual and mechanical tools to aid in the game's atmosphere and unique game feel.
