Early access provides a valuable opportunity to receive and implement community feedback. I plan to use this feedback to help steer late stage development towards a fully polished and balanced experience.

Settle into Cape Fathom where you have been tasked with restoring an abandoned restaurant in an effort to return prosperity to a once bustling region. Meet the locals and learn their culinary preferences; then utilize various, but limited, resources to source the highest quality ingredients for your patrons. Use your influence to pass or repeal town policies, shaping the local economy and environment.

Mechanics:

Manage and grow your restaurant; customize your menu and serving hours. Fill your kitchen with various appliances to prepare and produce fresh meals, then setup your dining space with seating, decorations and lighting. Expand your floor space and hire workers to assist with taking orders and running food to patrons.
Fish, forage, hunt, and grow gardens to source your recipe ingredients. Carefully balance a diverse environment as you encounter over-fishing, crop rotation, crop disease, over-hunting, and more.
Integrate with the local community! Dozens of characters with unique backgrounds, motives, and purpose; earn their respect, trust, and increase your influence to shape the environment and local economy through various governmental policies.
Gain experience to increase your skills and learn new recipes, unlock new items, and improve your overall effectiveness in fishing, foraging, hunting, gardening, and of course, cooking!
Satisfy your character's basic needs. Hunger, thirst, energy, stress, and socialization will affect your overall mood impacting your overall effectiveness and productivity.
Restore prosperity to the region. As your reputation expands, expect increased tourist activity to benefit not only your restaurant, but the entire community as a whole.
Explore the open world! Shop for ingredients or furniture and appliances; visit the brewer and place orders to fill your kegs, or bring freshly hunted game to the animal processor and receive various cuts of meat, and more.
