⚠️ Compatibility Notice

The classic BeachHead games were originally built more than 20 years ago using DirectDraw, a legacy graphics system no longer fully supported by modern Windows versions. To ensure better compatibility, this release includes DDrawCompat, a widely used open-source DirectDraw wrapper.

What You Should Know

• These games were designed for 4:3, 640×480 resolutions. Depending on your monitor, you may see pillarboxing, stretching, or minor scaling artifacts.

• Although DDrawCompat significantly improves stability and rendering on modern PCs, some systems may still require small adjustments, such as disabling fullscreen optimizations or running in windowed mode.
