Story

You are PROT, an abandoned robot. A young woman enlists your help to rescue her family. Use your creative skills, wits, and the items you find to construct a space ship and other tools. The fate of Cass's family is in your hands!

• A Robot Oddity

Utilise the quirky robots and organic inhabitants of the moons to solve challenges and progress. Through discarded sketches, notes and messages from Cass discover the stories of her family members.

• Real-time Immersive Space

Machines and lifeforms continue moving, processing, growing and eating whether the game is running or not. You can wait patiently or seek out accelerators to speed things along. Be kept up to date via emails from Cass and PROT when you're engaged in your "real" life.

• Life and Death

Choices matter in PROT: there is no option to reload or restart a checkpoint. Time continues uninterrupted without rewind. For PROT at least there is no death: PROT's automatic teleport system will always take him to safety: the family members you are tasked with rescuing may not be so lucky...

• Materialistic World

Everything you collect is recyclable, and can be re-created using a Fabricator. Fabricate new bombs from fragments, convert water (H20) into Hydrogen and Oxygen to fuel your ship.  Most entities have their own inventory of items which can be acquired - if you know how.  

• Do it Your Way

Solve problems with creativity and intelligence, or brute force.  Doors can be blown off or the key can be found. Weevils can be whacked in their nest, or captured in other ways. Enemy robots can be destroyed or….well I don’t want to give too much away.
